Jorge's family is from Cadiz, Andalucia the birthplace of Flamenco. He has lived and trained in Spain with maestros of the Flamenco guitar. His connection to the south of Spain is powerful and he returns often to the source for inspiration.

Jorge is a leading figure in the Flamenco scene. He has performed with a number of local companies as well as visiting companies from Spain. Jorge has also played several of Ontario's more prestigious stages including, The Du Maurier Theatre, Premier Dance Theatre, River Run Centre, The Glenn Gould Studio, The Orillia Opera House, Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts, The Living Arts Centre and Trinity St. Paul's.
